Where are you based and do you travel?

I’m based near North Bay, but I shoot all over Ontario. Travel for local (ish) weddings are built into my package prices. For weddings beyond 150 km, I charge for mileage and accommodation expenses if necessary.

How much does it cost to hire you for our wedding?

On average, my 8 hr wedding package costs $3500. All packages include custom web galleries for sharing your photos with the universe, a high resolution download of your beautifully edited images and full printing rights… which means you can print your photos wherever you want, as many times as you want.

Do you do custom packages?

Yes, absolutely! For the most intimate and unique weddings, I love to collaborate on package that will suit your needs. 

What’s your style?

You’ll notice going through my photos, that I’m big on candid and unposed moments. I approach my work as documenting the emotion of your day and the connection between the people you love. I believe those are the images that transport you back in time when you look at them later. This isn’t to say I shy away from giving direction and prompting couples when needed. My job is to make you feel at ease so I can capture the real moments between you.

How many photos will we receive from our wedding day?

For an 8 hr wedding you can expect between 400-500 images. The amount of guests you have, how many photographers are shooting, vibe of your wedding and structure of your day contribute to how many images you receive. I concentrate on the quality of work I deliver, instead of quantity.

Do we need a second photographer?

Sometimes yes and sometimes no. I can’t be two places at once, so if there’s a big distance between your getting ready locations or you want your guests photographed enjoying cocktail hour while formal portraits are taking place… then yes.

How do we book you?

After you’ve decided which package will serve you best, I’ll send you a contract and an invoice for 25% of the total fee. The remaining 75% balance is due on your wedding day. Bookings are on a first come, first serve basis. I accept payment by e-transfer, cheque or cash.

When will we receive our photos?

During peak wedding season it can take up to 6-8 weeks to deliver your photos. I always send out a sneak peek within 2 weeks of your wedding. I’m so excited to share your beautiful day!

Should we book an engagement session?

I always encourage engagement sessions. It’s a great way to get comfortable in front of my camera in a more private session and learn how I work. It gives me the opportunity to get to know you too, so I can do my best work for you on your wedding day. Pick a location you love!  Whether it’s on top of a mountain or in your living room, I’m up for any adventure!
