North Bay Wedding Photographer- Muskoka Elopement
Danielle and Sean’s elopement was my first wedding of the season and it was a treat! They planned a super intimate cottage wedding at Sean’s family cottage near Minden. I was in a total panic leading up to it cause Minden was very flooded. Their ceremony was held at the Minden Heritage Museum in the relocated and restored Bethel Church. Danielle had chosen it just by photos she had seen online and it was the perfect choice. It was small, full of character and beautiful light. For the couples portraits they had chosen the Gull River rapids, where there used to be exposed rock you could walk out on. Due to the flooding the water was very high and more of rapid-y than usual, but it made for amazing photos. This loving and calm couple with explosive rushing water behind them is the kind of juxtaposition I like.
The reception back at the family cottage was held in the garage prettied up into a rustic dining hall. I ended up sticking around for dinner catered by BE Catering, which was insanely good and so simple.
Thanks again Sean and Danielle. You planned a perfect day and you’re going to amazing parents.
