Hike To An Old Growth Forest

After a few rounds of rescheduling and reimagining their wedding, Erica and Alex decided a hike to an old growth forest to get hitched was more their style.

Their day was the elopement of my dreams. Taking a 3 hour round trip boat ride to hike up hills and through swamps to get married under some big beautiful trees, makes me want to hire Erica as my wedding planner. She also introduced me to Danner hiking boots… which are as expensive as they are sexy. The logic of saving money on feeding a bunch of people and buying yourself a sensible treat instead also has me wondering if I should hire her as my financial planner too.

It made me so happy to be a part of the kind of day Erica and Alex really wanted. Elopements truly hold the biggest place in my heart.
