Muskoka Cottage Wedding

It may have not been the original plan, but Breanne & Adam’s more intimate Muskoka Cottage wedding was anything but tame.

I met Breanne and Adam when their sister Kaitlin hired me to do a surprise family photo session for their Mom at the cottage. Kaitlin’s boyfriend then informed me that he was going to propose to Kaitlin at the end of the session. It was adorable, you can check it out here!

The surprise engagement ended up going good for Matt so I got to photograph Kaitlin & Matt’s wedding so I almost felt like I was on retainer for the family when Breanne and Adam asked me to shoot their engagement and their wedding. It’s gotta be my favourite feeling to watch a family grow!

The original plan was to do it bigger and badder at The Key to Bala where the couple met. The pandemic changed their plans a few times, so they ended up choosing Breanne’s stunning family cottage. In no way did it seem like a compromise. The cottage is jammed full of beautiful memories and love… why not add a little more.
