Northridge Inn Elopement

Steph and John were my first elopement and I don’t know if I could have imagined a more incredible couple. I spent 6 hours with them essentially being their sole wedding guest and photographer… or at least it felt that way. To be invited in to document such an intimate and intentionally private day was intimidating, but it felt natural and fun as soon as I walked in the door.

When you strip away all the things you’re “supposed” to do for your wedding… you’re really just left with the most beautiful thing about it. The love and the ceremony… the partnership and commitment. Steph and John walked each other down the isle, which to me was the most powerful moment.

They chose the Northridge Inn, in Sundridge Ontario. It’s a gorgeous place that Steph fell in love with. The staff went above and beyond to make every detail of their day special and jam packed it with surprises. Like bringing in Vanessa Monteith to do Steph’s make-up!
