Ski Hill Engagement – Antoine Mountain
When I tell couples to pick a spot for engagement photos, what the pick is usually an insight into the kind of people they are. Some defer the decision back to me, some pick adventures and some choose destinations. Erica and Alex picked the ski hillAntoine Mountain.
I had been there once, but didn’t explore it. I was a little blown away by how beautiful the chalet is and the runs are huge! Not that we had time to ski. It was the beginning of March juuuuust as the pandemic started to get serious here, and the snow was quickly melting.
We all tromped around getting boots full of snow, and feeling a little sheepish standing in the middle of the hill with skiers flying by. We found a couple quiet spots, had some laughs and ended up with pretty gorgeous photos.
Stay tuned for Erica and Alex’s wedding photos. Spoiler alert, we took a boat ride to some crown land and hiked to an old growth forest where they got hitched under monster trees.
Peep some other engagement sessions I loved shooting:
Susan and Auburn’s canoe adventure to Talon Chutes, and Natalie and Stephen’s sunset at Brickworks!
