Toronto Glass Factory Wedding

Toronto weddings always are a welcome change in scenery for me each summer. Kaitlin and Matt’s wedding was big and beautiful, but still felt warm and intimate from start to finish. Kind of a reflection of who they are as people… outgoing, sincere, hilarious and loving.

I met Kaitlin and Matt when I shot a family session for them in Muskoka last summer. Matt surprised Kaitlin with a proposal and I was the only one that knew about it. Kaitlin (and her whole family) flipped her lid when he dug a ring out of his sock and I fell a little in love with them as a group after that. How could I NOT?!?! I was so stoked when they asked me to shoot their wedding. Now I’m a little in love with all their friends and extended family. I have a tough job.

Their day was easy breezy. It had all the structure and pomp of a big wedding, but this crew made it feel kinda like a wine tour of 16 friends with a ceremony and some heart wrenching speeches peppered in. It was really the best day!

Their planner was the wizard of a woman Mo&Co. A total pleasure to work with from start to finish! She made the giant industrial room at The Glass Factory feel like Vanity Fair… no big deal.
